Being friends with some Old Order Amish, I, as a woman, am often reminded of the beauty of living simply, serving gladly, walking humbly, and not relying on makeup, jewelry or fancy clothes to reflect my inner worth. With the external stripped away, the internal can shine through, and the robe of humility and servanthood clothes us in more splendor than the most regal gown in the world.
